Ludwig Choker
Ideal in difficult terrain in conjunction with rope devices
When using forestry ropeways, manually releasing the timber that has been moved to the forestry road is a very time-consuming and dangerous activity. With the Ludwig Choker, automated systems also eliminate this last activity, which requires stepping out of the safe cabin. Since 2007, the system has been consistently improved to withstand the extreme conditions to which the Ludwig Choker is exposed.
Since 2011, we have also offered a reinforced version, the Ludwig Choker 69, which is used for very strong winches, such as those used in the USA and Chile, or for demanding downhill ropes.
