Transferring cellulose packages from ship to truck
At the French inland port of Port d’Halluin, cellulose packages for the local paper mill are delivered by ship and transferred to trucks. As is usual in logistics, everything is done under time pressure. Until now, an employee on the truck had to unhook the packages by hand. In doing so, he had to rely on the crane driver to watch him when he landed the load. Thanks to Ludwig Hooks, unhooking is possible without an employee on the truck.
